WHERE DO YOU OPERATE FROM?
Magnetic Island Fishing Charters operates from Pacific Drive in Horseshoe Bay (across the road from Sandi’s on Magnetic), and the Nelly Bay Public Boat Ramp (next to the Helipad) depending on the weather forecast. We’ll let you know well in advance where to meet.
HOW LONG IS A CHARTER?
Our half-day charters run typically for 4 hours and our full-day charters run for around 8 hours.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ON BOARD?
Our vessel, C/Level, can carry up to 5 guests on inshore charters and up to 4 guests on offshore charters. We do not carry mixed groups so you will only be onboard with people who you know.
WHAT WILL WE CATCH?
This is dependant on the conditions of the day. We’re typically bottom bashing for reef fish such as coral trout, red emperor, nannygai, tusk fish, cods, and trevally. Trolling lures we catch all sorts of pelagic fish such as Mackerel’s and Tuna.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS?
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring any food or drinks you would like on board.

Absolutely, we grew up fishing and are passionate about sharing this rite of passage with young anglers.
